Around 1 a.m., a 60-year-old woman claims she was approached by a black male suspect near the 1300 block of Stewart Avenue, near Marlyand Parkway.
The victim says the man came at her with a knife and started slashing her. He then took her purse containing cash, i.d., and bank card before fleeing the scene on foot.
The woman walked to a nearby 7-Eleven and called emergency services. She was then transported to the hospital with non-threating injuries to her arms and hands.
Police have not found the suspect.
