A woman was rushed to the hospital Saturday night after being hit by a car.
Police say the woman was crossing the street near Katie Avenue and Maryland Parkway around 10:20 p.m. when she was hit.
Emergency crews at the scene worked quickly to get her to the hospital. Reports say she is in serious condition.
The driver of the car took off after striking the woman. Police are searching for the driver.
