LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A woman is recovering from serious injuries at the hospital after being hit by a car in Summerlin, police say.
She was jogging across the crosswalk at Crestdale and Town Center Drive when she was hit by a gray Toyota, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
An officer tells 13 Action News that she was vaulted 54 feet.
The woman was transported to UMC Trauma with serious injuries. She is stable.
Streets were closed for several hours in the area.
