Both directions of Decatur Boulevard are now open following a deadly crash in the area around 6 a.m.

Authorities say there is still police-activity on Decatur Boulevard south of Alta Drive. Decatur northbound is now open, southbound is still closed.

Police say a women is dead after being hit by a vehicle near Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive just before 6 a.m.
The intersection has been closed for several hours and police say it will remain closed for several more.
The woman was in a crosswalk but crossed against the light, according to officers.

Police say the driver is cooperating and suffered no injuries.
This is the 12th deadly vehicle crash of the year.
