A woman was critically injured in a crash Monday morning on Sunset Road at the 215 Beltway off-ramp.
The woman was driving her car eastbound on Sunset Road when it was struck by a van that was headed southbound. The car continued through a guardrail and down the embankment.
The female driver was transported to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition.
The male driver of the van was not injured and not transported.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
