UPDATE 12:30 P.M.: The man is now in police custody and the barricade is over.
UPDATE 11 A.M.: The woman and child have both made it out of the home safely, but SWAT is still negotiating with the man inside the home.
9:14 A.M.: LVMPD reports an active barricade situation on 8600 Tom Noon Avenue, near Blue Diamond Road and South Durango Drive.
The incident began as a domestic call around 7:30 A.M. with a report of a man injuring himself inside of the residence. Police have confirmed that a woman and child are currently inside the home as well, but they are not considering it a hostage situation at this time.
SWAT is currently at the scene and nearby residences are being evacuated as a precaution.
