A woman was arrested for driving under the influence after a three-vehicle crash near Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard Sunday evening.
Police said around 7:30 p.m., a Chrysler 300 was traveling south on Valley View Boulevard and went through an intersection with a red light, resulting in a crash with a Toyota Camry and a Toyota 4Runner.
The driver of the Chrysler, 35-year-old Diedre Dillard, showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI. She received minor injuries in the crash and was treated at University Medical Center before being booked at the Clark County Detention Center.
The passenger in the Camry, a 74-year-old woman, received moderate to series injuries in the crash and was taken to University Medical Center.
There were no other injuries reported to other drivers or occupants.
The intersection was blocked to traffic for several hours while police investigated.
