Brenda Stokes Wilson has pled guilty to all charges related to the murder of Jade Morris.

Stokes Wilson was accused of killing her ex-boyfriend's 10-year-old daughter in 2012. She was also accused of slashing the face of a former co-worker, Joyce Rhone, at a casino on the Las Vegas Strip because she believe the woman was dating the child's father.

The little girl's body was found in the desert of an abandoned housing development after Stokes Wilson had picked the child up to go Christmas shopping.

Stokes Wilson was charged with first-degree kidnapping, murder, burglary, attempted murder, battery resulting in substantial bodily harm and mayhem. She was originally scheduled to go to trial in 2015, but it was moved to February of this year to give her lawyer time to prepare.

Stokes Wilson has been held at the Clark County jail since her arrest. She appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom on Thursday morning and entered a guilty plea.

Morris's relatives were in the courtroom.

"It's a struggle," said Morris' grandmother, Brenda Williams. "Every day is different. Some days I feel like I can't go on."

Morris' uncle says he's struggling to forgive Wilson.

"I'll never be content until I hear that she's dead," said Eric Morris.

Wilson's plea deal stipulates a life sentence without parole.

Wilson will be sentenced on March 9.

"I think that life in prison without eligibility of parole is what she deserves because I think she deserves to let it go through her mind, so she can remember," said Williams. "To me, that's suffering. I want her to suffer."
