A wind advisory is in effect for the Las Vegas valley until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Gusts are expected to reach between 35 and 45 miles per hour, with sustained winds between 15 and 25 miles per hour.
A Red Flag Warning has also been issued until 11 p.m. for Las Vegas and the surrounding areas due to winds and extremely dry conditions. A Red Flag Warning indicates critical fire weather conditions.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 88 degrees and a low of 75 degrees. Wednesday will be cooler, with a high of 88 degrees and a low of 64 degrees.
