LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County Fire Department and the Bureau of Land Management responded to a fire at Clark County Wetlands Park near Sam Boyd Stadium this morning.
This marks the second fire at the park in less than a week.
The first fire burned about 45 acres on Feb. 17.
Authorities say today's fire has been contained at 6.6 acres.
Firefighters say there were no injuries and no structures were threatened today.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Bureau of Land Management (BLM) crews will remain on scene throughout Sunday doing mop-up operations.
Authorities say that some smoke will be visible from the park throughout the day.
