LAS VEGAS — Wells Fargo says smoke is to blame for a power shutdown at one of their facilities that resulted in customers unable to access their money on Feb. 7.
We’re experiencing system issues due to a power shutdown at one of our facilities, initiated after smoke was detected following routine maintenance. We’re working to restore services as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

According to ABC News, this is the second time in one week customers experienced outages on its online banking platforms and mobile banking app.
At this time, it's unclear about the scope and breadth of the problem or how many customers or locations were affected.
