LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — There have been four new flu deaths in Clark County, according to Southern Nevada Health District.
In week eight of the flu season, Feb. 16-Feb. 22, there were four more flu-related deaths compared to the week before.
By week seven, Feb. 9-Feb. 15, there were 31 flu-related deaths, compared to the latest total of 35 deaths so far this season.
The majority of those deaths are people in the 65+ age group, with a total of 22 for the season. There were four more deaths in that group in week eight compared to week seven.
