LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Executives and players from the Las Vegas Golden Knights are discussing the end of the season at a press event today.
On April 23, The Golden Knights fell in Game 7 of their playoff series against the San Jose Sharks.
This morning, news broke that the referees who made a controversial call in that game will not be moving on to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Golden Knights Chairman, CEO and Governor Bill Foley says:
We're not going to look in the rear view mirror, we are going to look forward... Our goal is to have a better team next year than this year just as we did this year versus last year. I felt that our team overall was a better team this year than it was a year ago, and I believe it will be a better team next year than we are right now. But I'll say we have great players, we have a great team.
