A distracted driver swerved off the road on Interstate 15 in Utah Sunday, just narrowly missing a trooper vehicle.
The Utah Highway Patrol car caught the crash on a dashboard camera video as it was conducting a traffic stop. The car swerved by the trooper, then corrected to the right before it went off the side of the road and rolled several times.
Other people ran to help the driver, a 55-year-old woman from Cedar City, who had been distracted by a cell phone. She is recovering from serious injuries in a St. George hospital.
