LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A new study by WalletHub shows Nevada isn't doing well when it comes to education.
Nevada was ranked the 7th least-educated state in America.
WalletHub took a look at how many students graduate in the state and how many go to college and receive degrees.
The state was ranked No. 41 for number of high school diplomas given, 38th for number of students receiving associated degrees, and 45th for number of bachelor degrees awarded.
WalletHub also looked at school quality and achievement gaps between genders and races. They compared all 50 states across 20 total metrics.
Massachusetts is the most educated and Mississippi is the least educated, according to WalletHub.
