LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — In just a couple of days we will know if Clark County School District teachers will be going on strike.

Members of the teacher union began voting at midnight on May 7 and they will continue to do so until Saturday night.

If they get a majority vote, teachers could potentially strike at the beginning of next school year. The union wants $120M in additional funding for CCSD.

Just last month, hundreds of teachers rallied at the federal courthouse to ask for additional education funding to reduce class sizes, get the resources necessary for students with special needs, and for higher salaries.
