LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A new program in the Las Vegas valley is helping at-risk youth earn a high school diploma and find a job.

YouthBuild is a six-month program that kicks off next week with 22 participants.

It provides teens and young adults who are 18 to 24 years old with a chance to find work in the construction industry.

The free program is part of an effort by the U.S. Department of Labor, College of Southern Nevada, Habitat for Humanity and other community partners.
