Vegas stores add additional protections amid protests

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — During Saturday’s protest on Fremont Street, downtown people looted an EZ pawn store.

Tuesday, some stores around Las Vegas were continuing to brace for another night of potential damage and looting.

Plywood could be seen installed over the windows at the North Premium Outlets.

About 25 percent of the stores have some wood barriers with more metal gate coverings.

Police said they will not tolerate unlawful behavior and arrests will be made to those committing crimes.
