LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police responded to a critical crash that involved a pedestrian Wednesday morning in the east part of town.
Officers say they were called to a reported collision just after 5 a.m. on Boulder Highway at Missouri Avenue.
A Toyota was traveling south and struck a person at or very close to that intersection. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Southbound traffic on Boulder Highway was closed at the intersection, just south of Tropicana Avenue, for the on-scene investigation, according to police.
Officials were able to reopen the intersection around 9:45 a.m.
No further immediate details were released by authorities.
