Update: According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Alejandro Morales-Linares has been located and is "safe and sound."

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's missing person detail is requesting the public's assistance in locating 18-year-old Alejandro Morales-Linares.
Police say he could be in severe emotional distress and need medical assistance while only communicating through sign language.
Morales-Linares was last seen on Feb. 14 at about 6 p.m. near Freedom Park, located a the corner of Mojave Road and Washington Avenue.
Police describe him as a Hispanic man standing about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. Morales-Linares was also last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.
