A fire caused an estimated $75,000 in damage in the southeast part of the valley Sunday afternoon.
At 1:23 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a reported vacant structure fire in the 5400 block of Berchmans Avenue, near Hacienda Avenue and Stephanie Street.
The first in unit reported heavy fire from the garage and initiated an offensive attack at 1:39. The fire was reported knocked down at 1:48.
A primary and secondary search of the determined the structure was vacant but had been inhabited by squatters.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
