A mother in Utah is warning others about a virtual kidnapping scam. She says that when she answered, she heard a child crying.
Sandy Baker says she was driving when she got a phone call from an unknown number. A crying girl called her "mom" and said she had been in an accident. Then, a man came on the phone and started asking for money.
The virtual kidnapper convinced her to send money. Baker lost $800 to the scammers. Now she is warning other people.
