A man is behind bars after an alleged homicide in Texas.
Garth Claytor, 31, a fugitive wanted in Texas by the Collinsville Police Department was arrested Dec. 18 in Las Vegas by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
A warrant was issued charging Claytor with homicide. The charges stem from an incident in which Claytor allegedly killed his mother in Collinsville, Texas.
U.S. Marshals developed information that Claytor fled to Las Vegas and he was arrested in the vicinity of Rainbow Boulevard and Charleston Boulevard.
He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center pending his extradition to Texas.
