With more than 400,000 people expected to attend Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) on June 17-19, Uber is teaming up with EDC organizers to offer safe rides to festival-goers throughout the weekend.
Riders are also invited to relax in the Uber Rider Lounge adjacent to the Uber lot while they wait for their rides. The lounge is equipped with changing stations, wifi, music, seating, and restrooms.
According to Eric Wimer, general manager of Uber Nevada, the goal of the partnership is to ensure festival-goers get to and from the event safely, while reducing traffic congestion.
