LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Uber and Lyft drivers across the country are striking because they want better pay, and in Las Vegas a crowd has gathered in solidarity with the movement.

At a rally across from the Thomas & Mack Center protesters can been seen with signs that read, "Give drivers a fair share" and "Uber do you care about the drivers?"

Nationwide, drivers are calling for livable incomes, job security, and regulated fares. The calls for action come ahead of Uber's impending IPO.

While drivers are not striking in Las Vegas, they are gathering to show solidarity.
