UPDATE: Red Rock Search and Rescue confirmed Sunday that Iris Marmolejo and Elizabeth Cook were found Saturday afternoon near Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway. Marmolejo's dad was the one who picked them up. No other details were released.

ORIGINAL STORY: Two Las Vegas families are reaching out to the community with a desperate plea.

Their teenage daughters have been missing for more than two weeks and they have no leads as to where they might be.

Their parents are hoping someone might have seen the two girls and may have information that could help bring them home.

"I'm terrified," said Natasha Cook. "She's put herself in an incredibly dangerous situation."

Natasha Cook is in a position that no parent could imagine, her daughter has been missing for weeks.

She says 17-year-old Elizabeth Cook has not posted on social media, used her debit card, or been seen by anyone since she disappeared, and neither has her girlfriend, 16-year-old Iris Marmolejo.

"It's kind of like a Romeo and Juliet with two Juliets," said Cook. "They just want to be together and they're going to do whatever it takes to be together."

Cook said she is fine with the girl's relationship, but the same cannot be said for Iris' parents.

"I guess in the beginning we weren't....We didn't really agree with it," said Iris' father Herbert Marmolejo. "Just because of the way we were both raised and our values."

Marmolejo said he thinks their opinion on their daughter and her girlfriend may be a factor in their disappearance. But he said what happened has changed him, and he has a word for others.

"If I had something to tell another parent, I'd say love your children as they are," Marmolejo said. "Learn to accept them because you never know when you might see them again or not."

Dave Cummings, who is in charge of Red Rock Search and Rescue, believes there are three possibilities--
That they planned to run away and had someone drive them out of town, that they have someone hiding them, or that they have fallen in the hands of a pimp and are now being trafficked.

If you know anything, or you have seen these girls, you are asked to call police.
