Two men are in custody after trying to rob two valley gas stations Tuesday overnight.
The first robbery took place near Rainbow Boulevard and Smoke Ranch Road around 1 a.m. Police say a man entered the store with a gun and demanded money. When the clerk refused, the suspect left empty-handed.
Minutes later, police believe the same man robbed a gas station at Cheyenne Avenue and Buffalo Drive. He got away with $150.
Police spotted the getaway car a short time later. The two men inside were taken into custody.
