A pickup truck plunged into a ravine on Mount Charleston around 10:38 a.m. Sunday, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at mile marker 8 on State Route 158.
Troopers say one female driver was in the truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Route 158 is closed in both directions, likely for most of the day. rescue workers will have to repel down to the body, and the truck has to be lifted out of the ravine.
