A 13 Action News viewer was the first to alert us of an incident involving a truck crashing into a Desert Shores restaurant.
Around 12:30 p.m. Monday, a truck went through the front window of Marché Bacchus restaurant on 2620 Regatta Drive near Lake Mead Boulevard and Buffalo Drive.
The photo we received shows the truck just moments after it was removed from the front of the restaurant. No word on when the window will be fixed but we do know that the restaurant is still open at this time.
Las Vegas police said the driver of the truck was transported to MountainView Hospital as a precaution and then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
No other injuries were reported.
