A trash fire is being allowed to burn out near Lake Las Vegas Friday evening.
The fire was reported in a ravine around 5:30 p.m. The Henderson Fire Department said it is a quarter of a mile from any structures but is not threatening any nor affecting any area roads.
However, many nearby residents reported seeing large flames in the distance.
