MASSACHUSETTS (KTNV) — A woman in Massachusetts was looking to find a match through the Tinder dating app but was instead attacked by her date.
Maegan Tapley, 24, was stabbed in the face by a man who she met from the app after the two ended up at his home, according to police.
Eric Stelzer, 25, allegedly came at her with a knife and neighbors ended up calling authorities after hearing screams from the home.
Officers said Stelzer claimed he was God and that Tapley was the devil.
Authorities had to use stun guns on the 25-year-old four times to try to subdue him, according to reports.
Stelzer ultimately died at the hospital with Tapley seriously injured and possibly losing her eye.
An investigation into the situation continues.
