The Vegas Strong 5K/1-Mile Walk took place Sunday morning in downtown Las Vegas.
This was the 2nd Vegas Strong run and walk. The first one took place shortly after the mass shooting during the Route 91 Harvest festival on the Las Vegas Strip. The money raised from the at event was used to help the many victims of the massacre.

100 percent of the net proceeds from the walk on Sept. 30 will benefit the Las Vegas victims and other community-identified needs in Las Vegas.
Thousands of people attended this morning’s run and walk.
