Las Vegas may be having the best sports year ever.

The city landed its very first professional sports team with an all-newNHL hockey franchiseearlier this year.

The possibility of the Oakland Raiders relocating their NFL franchise to Sin City seems very promising at this point.

Now, we may get some basketball action as well.

Jim Murren, CEO of MGM Resorts, says he's actively working to bring an NBA team to Las Vegas. MGM Resorts has confirmed this information to 13 Action News.

MGM Resorts says that it wouldn't be an expansion team, but most likely a relocation of an existing team. There is no information on what team that would be.

What team would you like to see relocate to Las Vegas?
