Teen's annual Christmas display in Henderson attracts hundreds

HENDERSON (KTNV) — A young man named Evan, who lives in Henderson, invited his friends and neighbors to his annual Christmas lighting ceremony on Saturday night.

Evan began decorating his home for Christmas as part of a school project. He has now being doing it for 3 years. This year he collected donations for the homeless in Henderson. Everyone who attended on Saturday night was asked to bring a small donation.

The lighting ceremony was attended by a couple of hundred people. They enjoyed free hot chocolate and cookies, live music, raffle prizes and a visit from Santa.

The house is located on Trackers Glen Avenue near Racetrack Road in Henderson. It features more than 21,000 lights.
