Teenager dies after Nov. 23 crash on Craig Road

UPDATE: Las Vegas police said the 16-year-old girl hurt in last week's crash died of her injuries Sunday morning.

The Clark County coroner identified the girl as Mary Elizabeth Lilly of Las Vegas. She died of blunt force trauma due to the crash.

This is the 106th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction this year. The crash remains under investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY

A 16-year-old girl received serious injuries in a crash Monday evening.

The crash occurred around 6 p.m. at the intersection of West Craig Road and North Pioneer Way. The teenage pedestrian was crossing Craig Road when she was hit by a Ford Ranger.

The 70-year-old driver of the Ford Ranger remained at the scene.

The teenage girl was transported to UMC Trauma with serious injuries.
