A 14-year-old student in Pahrump was arrested Thursday for making a bomb threat.
The Nye County Sheriff's Office first investigated the threat at Pahrump Valley High School on Wednesday. Officials said at the time, the threat was deemed to be unfounded and a result of misunderstanding a conversation.
However, on Thursday, the sheriff's office said they received several more tips that provided information necessary to make an arrest. The student was taken into custody for making terroristic threats.
