No injuries were reported after a driver suspected of being under the influence hit a Nevada Highway Patrol vehicle Thursday morning.
Around 12:30 a.m., the trooper was traveling northbound on U.S. 95 getting on the Interstate 15 northbound on-ramp in the right travel lane when a Dodge Charger made a lane change and drove through the solid white lines, hitting the side of the NHP vehicle.

The driver of the Charger, identified as Lanita Williams, stayed on scene but displayed signs of impairment. Troopers conducted field sobriety tests on Williams and arrested her on suspicion of DUI.
Williams was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and faces additional charges of disobeying the restricted access area, unsafe lane change and failure to update address on registration within 30 days.
