A Subway employee was assaulted during a robbery Monday morning on the west side of the valley.
The robbery happened around 2 a.m. at the location near Sahara Avenue and Durango Drive. Police said the suspect went into the Subway with a gun and beat up the employee.
The employee then went to the 7-Eleven next store and had the clerk call the cops. The Subway employee was then taken to the hospital.
The suspect remains at large. Police did not release a description of the suspect.
