UPDATE 8:26 A.M.: The Las Vegas office of the National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the area from now until 5 p.m. The agency says strong and gusty north winds, combined with low humidity values, create dangerous fire conditions.

ORIGINAL STORY
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Monday is a 13 Alert Action Day as strong winds blow through the Las Vegas valley, gusts as high as 39 mpg near Nellis Air Force Base.
