Staff at Arbor View H.S. to begin cultural training

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Staff at Arbor View High School will start cultural training this week.

The training comes after racist threats were made against some students in March.

The sessions will be on May 1 and May 2. Students will have a half-day of school on both days.

Last week, CCSD Superintendent Jesus Jara rolled out an action plan to address ongoing racial issues and threats within the district. This is one of the first steps.
