Squatters have set up shop in a gated community near Boulder Highway and Tropicana Avenue.
Neighbors told 13 Action News some people who live on the block are afraid to go outside.
"[One lady across the street] has a baby, and she tells me all the time, 'I feel so uneasy every time I come out the door and look at the end, trying to see if there's anybody over there,'" said Duan Traywick, a neighbor.
Traywick says squatters are a recurring problem in his neighborhood.
A manager with the homeowners told us there have been squatters in three different houses inside the complex.
At the one neighbors say has had trouble most recently, the sliding door in the backyard was open.
The HOA put padlocks on the front door and electrical breaker.
Neighbors say the intruders climb over the wall from Boulder Highway and easily enter the community.
13 Action News was unable to get in touch with the trust that records show owns the unit.
