Neighbors in one Mountain's Edge neighborhood are concerned after they say, squatters have taken over a home.

A toddler is also living inside.

13 Action News confronted the suspected squatters, who told us yes, they were living inside the home.

"I pay the bills, the bills are in my name, so you need to leave," says one of the women inside the home.

According to the homeowner's association, they aren't living there legally.

The HOA, Sierra Community Management, says the home is currently in foreclosure.

The HOA says the people inside even have a fake lease.

Neighbors reached out to 13 Action News concerned about the child's wellbeing. Child Protective Services was not immediately available for contact about the situation.

According to the HOA, police cannot make an arrest until the homeowner files paperwork.
