ORIGINAL STORY:
The Interstate 15 southbound ramp at East Cheyenne Avenue has been closed because of a spill.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, it will take several hours to clean up the spill. Motorists are advised to choose an alternate route.
The spill, which involved pool chlorine, happened around 12:07 p.m. NHP says that a truck was headed eastbound on Cheyenne and was turning onto the ramp when the driver lost the load.
Although the pool chlorine is not dangerous, it still has to be cleaned in a certain manner that takes time.
