A man in Southern Highlands who walked across his pool said it freezes every year.

The video of Scott Thomas walking across his pool went viral and has been viewed more than 900,000 times.

"I was kinda surprised seeing that many people would be interested in a frozen pool," Thomas said. "Back east they always freeze. I guess out here they don't."

In his latest video, Thomas tries to chisel away some of the ice from the pool.

He said the pool usually freezes around Christmas and starts melting in January.
