A 23-year-old South Korean man has pleaded guilty to driving drunk and causing a high-speed crash that killed two teenagers in a car on a busy Las Vegas road nearly a year ago.
A prosecutor said Monday he'll seek 14 to 40 years in state prison for Seong Mo Lee when he's sentenced April 18.
Lee's lawyer, Kathleen Bliss, says she'll seek a lower sentence. She says Lee is taking responsibility for his actions.
Trial had been set to start next week.
Prosecutor Brian Rutledge says evidence shows Lee was driving a Mercedes sedan at 117 mph in a 45-mph zone when it slammed into a Nissan Versa making a slow U-turn on Boulder Highway early March 5, 2015.
Seventeen-year-old Kamesha J'Nyah Gilmore and 18-year-old Gabriell Rene Thomas were killed.
