Police are investigating a fatal crash.
It happened around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday near Rancho and Torrey Pines drives. One person has died as a result of the crash. The coroner identified the man as 80-year-old Ralph D. Lemme of Las Vegas. He died of blunt force trauma to the chest and partial choking on a dental plate.
Police said it was a collision involving a Toyota RAV4 and a Saturn. Lemme was the driver of the Saturn, which was struck by the Toyota.
It was the 115th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction in 2015.
