LINCOLN COUNTY (KTNV) — A rural Nevada road is closed following a train derailment early Wednesday morning, according to Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say the county road from Elgin to Carp is completely closed until at least July 11, and then it will remain partially closed for the next 7-10 days.

There are construction equipment, train cars, and debris blocking the roadway.
The sheriff's office says Union Pacific Railroad is working to get the area cleaned up and the road back open as quick as they can.
Authorities did not say if there were any injuries in the incident.
