ABC's quick decision to cancel the reboot of "Roseanne" after Rosanne Barr's racist tweet is also costing her business in Las Vegas.
Earlier this month, Barr had performed at the Orleans. Prior the launch of the show, tickets weren't selling as much, but once the premiere got the attention of 18 million Americans, tickets for the May 5 show sold out.
But today, Boyd Gaming tells 13 Action News they have no existing agreements for any more shows with Barr at any of their properties in future.
Entertainment reporter Johnny Kats says we're "in uncharted territory," when it comes to whether Barr could mount a comeback. He says at this point, he doubts any showrooms would want to have Barr perform.
But, that being said, "there's always career options for a firebrand."
