The 10th annual prescription drug take back event took place Saturday.
Nevadans were able to turn in their expired, unused and unwanted prescription pills for proper disposal.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detectives, medical professionals and officials Drug Enforcement Agency were on site to collect the medications and to educate the public about prescription drug abuse.
