A recent analysis found that people in Las Vegas are worse at sticking to a budget than many other cities.
LendingTree found that Las Vegas was No. 3 on its list, only topped by San Antonio, Texas, and Riverside, California. Las Vegas' neighbor to the southeast, Phoenix, was No. 4.
LendingTree combed through data to see where Americans are spending within -- and beyond -- their means. LendingTree also analyzed credit report data of My LendingTree users and compared it to average household income data. The website also included factors like the number of credit inquiries, the use of revolving credit lines, non-housing debt and mortgage balances.
